We are seeking a Senior Brand Marketing Manager to lead and own global brand marketing efforts for Magic: The Gathering®. This brand strategist and brand equity growth expert should have a passion for formulating and driving change with entertainment brand positioning across both engaged fan bases and expanded new audiences. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in crafting and delivering marketing programs that reposition brands for long-term sustainable growth. They also excel at building collaborative relationships with internal and external partners.

What You'll Do:
 

  • Proven Strategic Marketing Leader – Work across functional teams to plan, develop, implement, and track all marketing for the Magic brand, including oversight of brand campaign goals, strategy, execution, and learning, as well as leading and mentoring a brand marketing manager.
  • Trusted and Inspirational Partner – Build and nurture effective relationships across cross-functional and regional teams as well as with studio leadership through a collaborative and impact-first mentality.
  • Brand Champion – Lead the way and be the marketing business owner and go-to-market leader for brand-level audience and messaging prioritization, cross-functional alignment behind new ways to position the Magic brand for sustainable long-term growth, and all related consumer-facing brand campaigns.
  • Creative Driver - Work with cross-functional teams and external agencies to build larger-than-life and break-thru marketing messaging for the Brand, while ensuring messaging consistency and brand equity growth.
  • Global Supporter - Engage with global regional teams to ensure global alignment and success in their respective markets.
  • Industry Authority – Apply expert-level understanding of the market environment and the opportunity for Magic.
  • Campaign Connector-in-Chief – Oversee the team that acts as the go-to group across all internal teams and channels, throughout campaign phases, from conceptualization to implementation and post-campaign analysis, actualizing product business goals.
     

What You’ll Bring:
 

  • 5 years’ experience in brand management and product marketing strategy.
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • Outstanding communication skills with an ability to craft and communicate strategy.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and highly dynamic environment.
  • Experience using data to drive decisions and planning.
  • Inspirational leadership and people management with a consistent track record of encouraging and developing others.
  • Experience in building bridges with various internal and external team members, and executive leadership.
  • Validated track record in leading product marketing teams including crafting and driving go-to-market plans and marketing playbooks, with premier entertainment brands.
  • Creativity, flexibility, and great sense of humor!

 

Compensation Range, Currency USD:

  • Starting Pay Range: $ 104,400
  • Pay Range End: $177,600
