We are looking for a hardworking, innovative, and bold Senior Business Manager to own the global business for Magic's experimental sub-brand. Reporting to the Director of Secret Lair, this role will use data and other signals to grow the business while deepening customer engagement. You will work closely with the product team to drive growth and excitement for the Secret Lair product range, craft strategies to expand our customer base, and improve the customer journey.
What You'll Do:
- Drive the Business - be responsible for the end to end business strategy, including strategizing, implementation, and continuous assessment of product, pricing, inventory, and promotional strategies to hit revenue targets and other key performance indicators.
- Develop the Portfolio - expand the product line, own channel strategy and expansion and drive new product development in partnership with the Senior Product Lead of Secret Lair.
- Cross-Functional Leadership - lead discussions with Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Commercial Sales teams to ensure alignment and progress towards Secret Lair's financial and brand goals.
- Financial Planning and Reporting - Assist with budgeting and forecasting, and present on progress toward our fiscal goals to Magic Studio leadership on an ongoing basis.
- Insights and Trends Analysis - research and communicate current market trends and competitive activity to identify new opportunities.
What You'll Bring:
- BA/BS or equivalent experience required, preferably with a concentration in Business, Marketing, or related coursework.
- Demonstrated ability in leading and growing the revenue and audience of a global brand.
- Creative problem solver comfortable with ground-breaking fast-growth strategies and innovative business models.
- Strong professional and interpersonal skills sufficient to make you someone outside groups look forward to working with.
- Well developed, verbal, written and presentation skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Nice to Have:
- First-hand experience in online/DTC sales or product management.
- Familiarity with Magic: The Gathering and Secret Lair.
- Prior experience in collectibles or trading cards.
Compensation Range, Currency USD:
- Starting Pay Range: $118,100
- Pay Range End: $177,200
