Are you the next product leader for Magic: The Gathering’s experimental DTC sub-brand?
We are looking for a creative and bold Senior Product Lead to craft the future of Secret Lair by combining outstanding product design, creative vision, and business objectives to create cards and products our customers love. Reporting to the Director of Secret Lair, this role works closely with the design, creative, business, and marketing teams to build successful products, from conception to release.
What You'll Do:
- Build Outstanding Products: Conceptualize and drive exceptional card-based product design from concept to implementation, while guiding the strategy and work of the Product Team.
- Balance the Art and Science: Expand on past achievements and analyze data to improve and grow our product portfolio, considering customer preferences, profitability, and operational constraints to deliver outstanding results.
- Lead and Support: Collaborate with designers, art directors, and copywriters on our Product Team to ensure Secret Lair is constantly elevating its product range, creative quality, and brand voice.
- Maintain a Growth Mindset: Be a voice of innovation and passion. Pilot, experiment, and take on new opportunities, all in support of a brighter future for the program.
- Shape Magic: Help us put the most exciting, wonderful, and thrilling Magic cards possible into the world.
What You'll Bring:
- Professional experience in product design, creative leadership, or visual design.
- Deep and nuanced understanding of Magic: The Gathering as a game, ecosystem, and passion for diverse range of fans.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing innovative product strategies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Flexible, adaptable, creative approach with a constant thirst for knowledge.
- Compassion, empathy, and a deep understanding of people.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands.
- Knowledge of intellectual property management and licensing.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambitious environment.
Compensation Range, Currency USD:
- Starting Pay Range: $146,500
- Pay Range End: $244,200
