Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Producer to join the External Production team! In this role, you will work closely with our dedicated studio partners to develop exceptional games from initial concept through post-launch support while helping to uphold the creative vision behind our game franchises.

You will provide hands-on support for an external AAA title, working in close partnership with key development teams. The Senior Producer is ultimately responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet high-quality standards. Beyond individual projects, this role also plays a vital part in strengthening the team through process improvements, mentorship, and knowledge sharing.

What You'll Do:

  • Build, maintain, and improve strong working relationships with external studios to ensure projects stay on track, meet quality expectations, and align with business objectives.
  • Partner with development teams to ensure player expectations and creative vision are met while keeping production schedules, risk assessments, and publishing roadmaps synchronized between studios and the publishing organization.
  • Proactively identify and resolve challenges faced by external studios by bringing to bear internal resources, services, and vendor network.
  • Review and manage project budgets, supervise financial forecasts, and address potential overruns in coordination with studios, outsourcing partners, and internal publishing teams.
  • Ensure alignment with quality targets, timelines, and budgets through clear expectation setting, milestone reviews, and structured feedback loops based on internal or contractual agreements.
  • Work alongside User Research, Market Research, and QA teams to maintain high-quality standards across all projects.
  • Collaborate with publishing and release management teams to guide projects from early development through launch across all supported platforms.
  • Domestic and international travel may be required.
  • Must be onsite at our headquarters in Renton, WA!

What You'll Bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in game development, having successfully launched titles as both an internal and external/publishing Senior Producer.
  • A passion for D&D and extensive knowledge of the Baldur's Gate video games is critical
  • Expertise in structuring milestone review processes, as well as implementing risk mitigation and approval strategies.
  • Meticulous and highly organized, capable of thriving in fast-paced environments while leading meetings, capturing key insights, and driving discussions.
  • Extensive experience in developing console (Xbox/PlayStation) and/or PC titles, a detailed understanding of platform-specific submission and release processes.
  • Strong ability to assess project quality, anticipate development hurdles, and proactively address risks at all stages of production.
  • A proactive mindset—willing to take ownership of challenges and provide support where needed, regardless of the task.
  • Financial savvy: expertise handling budgets, balancing scope expectations, and communicating financial considerations to executive leadership.
  • Familiarity with industry platform holders (Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo) and experience driving projects through their entire lifecycle.
