About the Role 

Wizards of the Coast is looking for a Senior Producer to join our Digital Games group and be the Publishing Production relay for our AAA internal studios. This pivotal role requires deep know-how of production best practices, as well as a proven understanding of publishing needs for PC and Console games, across business models. The Producer is the representative of first-party studios within our Digital Publishing Unit and will be responsible for ensuring our games meet their qualitative and commercial goals. This role is located in Montreal.

 

What You'll Do 

  • As the “Go-To” person within our organization, identify challenges and roadblocks, partner with our Internal Studios and our Wizards & Hasbro partners to mitigate and remove them 

  • Navigate development and publishing priorities and steer complex situations towards business-driven solutions 

  • Make decisions informed by data, standardize methodologies, and consider many – and sometimes seemingly contradictory – viewpoints 

  • Provide reliable, consistent and clear information on assigned projects 

  • Be curious, a good listener, and always on the lookout for ways to improve the status quo. Know how to partner across functions, organizations and regions - be a master of communication

 

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years experience in the video games industry, in production related roles 

  • At least one shipped AAA title 

  • Expertise within video games project management methodologies and comfortable operating within distributed teams (regional and global) 

  • Strong familiarity with Publishing Production requirements 

  • Proven experience scheduling video game projects and managing external partners and internal stakeholders 

  • A natural communicator, comfortable with written and oral exchanges, at all seniority levels, across Wizards and Hasbro 

  • Knows how to prioritize concurrent work and when to escalate 

  • Work within the Digital Games organization to promote standard methodologies and participate in growing our Video Games Publishing capabilities 

  • A team player with a fierce sense of accountability and outstanding work ethic 

  • Love for Wizards and Hasbro Intellectual Properties and video games. 

  • Excellent communications skills in French and English
