Wizards is looking for a Principal Software Development Engineer with a strong desire to help build software and SDKs to speed up app and game development within both Unity and Unreal. Their primary job is to build the software using common patterns and processes for shared technology across game engines and game types.

This is an IC role requiring teamwork with members of our team, and with partner teams in Wizards and Hasbro for games and game engine apps. The person in this role will collaborate frequently with multiple teams including: game and application engineers, account and backend services teams, and data engineers.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Implement and integrate SDKs and common workflows into Unity and Unreal engine projects
  • Be part of a team crafting SDKS for unified account, auth, entitlements, and social ecosystem running across all Hasbro and WOTC digital products.
  • Design and implement solutions in alignment with architectural designs, best engineering standards, and production needs.
  • Work directly with game and app teams to integrate SDKs and tools into their game engines.

 

What You'll Bring:

  • 3+ years of total professional working experience as a software engineer.
  • Experience delivering effective software and crafting reusable architectures.
  • Strong communication and collaboration with diverse groups of people in multiple roles.
  • Proficient with Unity and familiar with Unreal game engines.
  • Proficient in one and familiar with C++ and C#
