We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join the Predictive Analytics team at Hasbro! This team is responsible for analytics in the domains of forecasting, pricing, and media. The data ecosystem is complex, and we are seeking a team member to support Hasbro marketing initiatives.

 

The primary directive for this role is to partner with Marketing to develop the measurement and forecasting of marketing initiatives, such as paid acquisition and lifecycle measurement. The Senior Data Scientist will build lifetime value (LTV) and retention predictive models to understand the behavior of our users, analyze the efficiency of marketing investment through attribution and media mix modeling, and build marketing reporting infrastructure. A Day in the Life of a Sr. Data Scientist:

  • Collaborate with Global Media and Player Lifecycle teams and develop data solutions to support marketing activities, specifically, LTV forecasting, regression-based models to estimate the efficiency of investments and models to increase user retention (e.g., next best action).

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reporting tools to track and visualize key performance metrics across owned, earned, and paid channels.

  • Provide insights to marketing and product teams, helping to design and execute experiments to move recommendations forward based on company goals (e.g., player growth, marketing ROAS).

 

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven ability to analyze digital marketing effectiveness and user lifecycle metrics, and author predictive models.

  • Understanding of digital marketing channels (Email, SMS, push, SEO, SEM, Social, etc.).

  • Familiarity with multi-touch attribution and media mix models, personalization, and customer journey.

  • A deep understanding of statistical analysis (e.g., hypothesis testing, experimentation, regressions). Ability to perform analysis in Python.

  • Proficiency in SQL and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI). Experience with GA4 is a plus.

  • Ability to communicate findings and tell a story with data to a variety of audiences.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation range for this role 109,000 to 202,000. The range listed is just one component of Wizards of the Coast’s total compensation package for employees. Employees may also be eligible for annual and long-term incentives.
