Hasbro is looking for an Account Executive to join our Commercial team in Sydney, Australia. This role will support the execution of sales plans to deliver the net revenue, share & profitability targets for the relevant customer/s within the market and be the key communication link for account operations between Hasbro and the respective buying teams. 

 

What You'll Do:

Range & Category Development

  • Analyze sales data, category insights, brand objectives and customer strategies to support range, category and SKU development.
  • Prepare product submissions in conjunction with range review calendars.
  • Monitor marketplace environment i.e. store / website visits with a view to maintaining market competitiveness in line with pricing policy.
  • Work with retail marketing and customer to develop planograms and out-of-aisle layouts.

 

Product Management

  • Manage each product’s lifecycle and recommend tactical investment/divestment decisions.
  • Complete & submit product submission forms & FOB sheets.
  • Maintain and update product information to ensure alignment and accuracy between Hasbro and customer systems.
  • Assist in managing customer orders, following up internally and ensuring customer communication is clear and succinct.
  • Organise samples for buying teams to support new lines and promotional plans.

 

Promotional Planning

  • Support the development of promotional plans that are aligned with the customer and Hasbro objectives/marketing initiatives.
  • Communicate the customer promotional program to relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely ordering and delivery of orders and out-of-aisle activations for promotions according to customer timelines.
  • Partner with store operations and customer marketing teams to deploy agreed promotional / marketing plans.
  • Organise relevant assets and approvals required for the marketing of Hasbro brands/products.
  • Administer claims process.

 

Maximise Sales

  • Partner with the account manager to review and analyse sales (baseline and promotional) and inventory performance to achieve financial KPI’s.
  • Assist the Buyer/Merchandise Team with order planning and make recommendations of quantities for replenishment, advertising and seasonal orders (where applicable) to maximize in stock position and sales.
  • Input and maintain accurate inventory forecasts within lead times to ensure supply flow.
  • Liaise with relevant supply chain teams to ensure full and on-time delivery of all orders.
  • Partner with retail marketing to provide effective briefs to in-store merchandising teams.
  • Attend and participate in customer meetings. Circulate meeting minutes and agreed actions.
  • Rectify any order management issues with the customers i.e. EDI, delivery window, FOB dates.
     

Administration

  • Prepare presentation decks with data and insights for customer meetings.
  • Track financial performance and forecast to provide visibility to revenue and operating profit achievement.

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • 2+ years’ experience within a sales operations role within consumer goods sales OR an FMCG or Mass Merchant retailer. Experience in Field Sales, Category Management or Marketing would be highly regarded.
  • Desire to build partnerships and deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • A strong communicator; willingness and ability to have commercial discussions and present with conviction.
  • Exceptional planning, organizational and time management skills to deliver across multiple activities and priorities.
  • Aptitude for data analytics, reporting and developing insights.
  • Digital Literacy, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel as well as SAP.
  • Positive and inquisitive attitude – looks for opportunities to grow, improve and simplify.
