High focus on the delivery of HR services to business leaders and employees, including recruitment, talent development, compensation, learning and development and engagement.</font></span></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li><strong>Strategic Direction </strong>– In partnership with the Vice President HR Commercial markets develop and drive Hasbro Japan people strategy through leadership, change management, learning and development activities and consistently enhancing a culture based on Hasbro’s vision, purpose and values; participate in business planning and strategy determinations, ensuring that HR specifications meet the business objectives to create a high performing business. Prepare and monitor HR and L&D budgets.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li><strong>Performance Management: </strong>Drive and deliver performance management partnering with the leadership team to ensure development of a superior workforce. Creating and delivering innovative solutions to managing performance.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li><strong>Workforce Planning</strong>, <strong>Talent Management & Staff Retention </strong> – Drive the Talent Development agenda in the business, create understanding and buy in of talent landscape across the organisation. Develop and implement programs to ensure retention of key staff, and reasonable levels of employee turnover. Design, deliver and develop solutions for learning and development needs and acceleration of key talent.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li><strong>Learning and Development</strong>  - ensure L&D activities are planned to meet current and future organisation and employee needs and satisfy government training requirements. Provide necessary internal compliance education and materials to managers and employees including workshops, manuals, employee handbooks etc. Present leadership and compliance training programs to employees as necessary.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li><strong>Recruitment</strong> – leads the standard recruiting and hiring practices and procedures necessary to recruit and hire a talented workforce. Assists with interviewing key positions, leads the recruitment and selection talent proposition. Creates and delivers the recruitment and retentions strategy identifying areas of threat as well as opportunities within the market. Driving and building competence in hiring managers.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li><strong>Compensation</strong> – Regularly review market competitiveness, benefit and reward structures, internal relativity and equity in line with global levelling and corporate policy guidelines. Responsible for liaising with local and global Human Resource & Compensation group on annual salary review and reward programs, preparation of remuneration review information to enable business unit managers to conduct reviews effectively and efficiently.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li><strong>Policy Development</strong> – Owns, develops and reviews all HR policy and procedure in line with current employment legislation and/or organizational changes.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li><strong>Business Partnering – </strong>Partners with managers to provide HR advice on all issues as they arise, works with managers to improve poor employee performance. Seeks legal advice when necessary to solve employment disputes.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Drives for <strong>simplicity</strong> across the spectrum of HR programs and operations.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li><strong>Legal requirements</strong> - maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting is compliant.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li><strong>HR Administration </strong>–</li> <li>Partner with 3<sup>rd</sup> party payroll providers to ensure smooth running and cost efficiency of payroll process.</li> <li>Work closely with MyHR Services to administer recognition program and service awards.</li> <li>Ensure all HR approvals are obtained and archived.</li> <li>Produce employment contracts, letters and other relevant documentation.</li> <li>Maintain employee personnel files.</li> <li>Work with the HR shared services team to update the HRIS, HR metrics and reporting.</li> <li>Assist in maintaining HR policy and procedure documents.</li> <li>Answer ad hoc HR related queries from employees.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Tertiary Qualification with 5+ years HR experience.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Moves fast, enjoys working in a dynamic commercial environment.</li> <li>Is curious to learn, asks questions, considers best practices and the external marketplace.</li> <li>Takes accountability and pride in the work they do, can work across many priorities.</li> <li>Fearless and confident in communication and problem solving.</li> <li>Is a positive role model and works with a high level of integrity.</li> <li>Is personally ambitious with a desire to continually improve.</li> <li>Sees change as an opportunity for growth.</li> </ul>
