Finance Director – Commercial Finance, EMEA
Location & Flexibility: This hybrid role is based in Stockley Park, West London, with in-office presence from Tuesdays to Thursdays, and flexible remote working on Mondays and Fridays.
Reports to: VP, Finance – Europe & Asia
Team Leadership: 3 Commercial Finance Managers (Total team size: 13)
Your Impact:
As Finance Director – Commercial Finance, EMEA, you will serve as the strategic finance co-pilot to Hasbro’s EMEA Commercial Leadership Team. This is a commercial-facing, high-impact role responsible for driving financial performance, fostering business partnerships, developing investment strategies, and promoting commercial growth across a complex $500M+ portfolio.
This role is built for a bold, energetic leader who combines sharp financial acumen with business instincts, thrives in change, and is ready to build and lead a high-performing team.
This is a key leadership role in Hasbro’s International Commercial Markets, so your ability to influence, challenge, and lead from the front is critical.
What You'll Do:
Commercial Strategy
- Partner with the EMEA SVP and Commercial Leadership Team to drive business performance across key markets, channels, and franchises
- Lead pricing strategy, channel investment, profitability analysis, and customer P&L decisions.
- Act as a strategic architect—identify revenue growth opportunities and unlock margin through smart trade-offs.
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Global Franchise Teams, and Supply Chain to ensure strategic alignment.
- Bring best practices and external commercial finance discipline into the region.
- Drive compliance with financial policies and controls in partnership with Controllership and Corporate Finance.
- Protect the integrity of the financials while accelerating business momentum.
- Drive Financial stewardship.
Team and People Leadership
- Demonstrate and emulate great leadership and team building ability - lead a team of 3 Commercial Finance Managers and a total team of 13 across key geographies.
- Build a culture of accountability, insight, and ownership— demonstrating finance as the essential co-pilot, not just a scorekeeper.
- Actively coach and stretch team members; foster internal mobility and talent succession.
- Create strategic alignment across objectives and teams.
What You Bring
- 8–12+ years in Finance with a strong track record in Commercial Finance, FP&A, and business partnering.
- Experience in CPG, retail, consumer tech, or fast-paced, brand-led industries.
- Clear success in leading high-performing teams across multiple markets.
- Deep knowledge of financial planning, pricing, customer P&Ls, and investment ROI.
- Strategic thinker who can zoom out and also dive into the details.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills at the Senior Leadership level.
- Energy and integrity, with an impactful growth mindset.
