Hasbro European Trading BV ('HET') is Hasbro SA’s distributor in Europe, which sells to Hasbro SA’s customers in all major European countries.  Hasbro International Trading BV ('HIT') is Hasbro SA's distributor for Direct/FOB sales in Europe. Hasbro UK Ltd ('the Company')  provides sales, marketing and other services to HET and HIT in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Key role requirements:

  • Achieve HET/HIT’s set sales and profit targets for the customer, channel & EU
  • Visit Key Customers and operate as part of a sales services team
  • Maintain and develop a mid-size customer OR a group of key accounts OR a category to maximize HET/HITs sales and profit targets 
  • Collaborate with leadership to implement approved retail sales strategies to strengthen Hasbro brands' market position
  • Effectively direct, manage, and coach direct report(s)

 

You will be responsible for:

  • Creating, implementing, and monitoring full-year account business plans of HET/HIT
  • Providing account forecasting/enrichment, continuously monitored and updated, utilising sales out analysis and trends, combined with product, brand, market, and retailer activity
  • Fulfilling profitability targets of HET/HIT in the market
  • Working in partnership with Country Leads to feed into & execute range alignment recommendations, scalable retail activation, and DI & exclusives forecasting alignment (timings and range)
  • Working in partnership with Retail Marketing teams to ensure tool kits are executed with key retail partners in line with brand & business priorities
  • Leading the Perfect Store / Perfect Screen implementation with key retailer partners, aligning to brand and business plan priorities
  • Understanding & fully utilizing models for analyzing customer profitability to aid decision making
  • Managing and developing 3-way plans and partnerships for our key Distributor partners across the EU
  • Understanding & ensuring compliance with the legal requirements and needs of Distributor partnerships
  • Supporting and executing the EU distributor strategy to maximize revenue, improve profitability, and unlock new business & distribution
  • Understanding and developing tools to enable distributor partners to sell Hasbro Brands more effectively
  • Delivering the individual account business plans to ensure they meet both HET/HIT and Customer objectives and reflect the overall approved sales and brand strategy 
  • Working closely with Customer’s stock control team to manage Customer stock requirements, stock levels, and ensure agreed serviceability targets are achieved
  • Managing JMA budgets 
  • Taking sole support of all account matters and day-to-day account issues

Financial measures and impact:  

o    BU Yearly Sales objectives  
o    HET/HIT Customer’s sales objectives  
o    Customer allowances and investment budget control  

 

  • Responsible for recommending Customer investments within the predefined budget 
  • Orders, invoices, deliveries - monitor orders and shipments in line with stock availability   
  • Support developing and recommending plans
  • Managing customers’ information flow on sales, stocks, and payments 
  • Responsible for forecasting customer sales and executing new product launches/listings
  • Identifying new opportunities for the brand and POS/POE activities 
  • Responsible for the implementation of the consumer promotional campaigns 
  • Responsible for developing the Customer Business Plan to be approved by HET/HIT 
  • Complete all SOX documentation required and maintain an accurate record of all agreements made concerning the Account (internal & external)
  • Undertaking detailed analysis of Customer development (internal and external)
  • Working with leadership to recommend and implement approved business plans for key accounts and review in line with quarterly targets
  • In partnership with leadership, ensure all retailer business planning KPIs are accurately planned, tracked & recorded effectively
  • Guiding Sales Operations & Sales Admin on customer content and admin support tasks
  • Building outstanding relationships with buyers
  • Sharing best practices as appropriate and leading cross-departmental projects
  • Embrace and follow business processes/tools to deliver & report results efficiently
