The Consumer Products division of Hasbro European Services provides services for the licensing business of Hasbro International Inc. (HII). We are currently recruiting for this position, based in Stockley Park, UK.

Main Purpose of the role:

Based in the UK (London, Greater London area), supporting the Senior Manager, this role is primarily responsible for the implementation of the global commercial team’s EMEA expansion strategy. The successful candidate will support all fully out-licensed partnerships including, but not limited to, the following crucial sub-categories: Vehicles, Craft & Activities, Sporting Goods, Summer Seasonal/Water Play, Dolls, Boy’s Action, Games & Pet Products. You will be tasked with delivering agreed upon financial targets (revenue, profitability and growth ambition), and delivering against dedicated global brand objectives. This position allows you to be accountable for collaborating across the Global Toy & Game pillar on the strategic plan and vision; and driving these priorities, focuses and plans with Licensees and their affiliates / distributors in priority markets. You possess a passion and curiosity for games, reviving and reinventing classic brands and enjoy working in a highly agile, innovative and creative environment.

Specific Responsibilities / Tasks:

  • Support the team to cultivate profitable long-term partnerships with licensees in EMEA
  • Own the day-to-day relationships with global licensees’ international distributors or local market offices to support critical initiatives.
  • Manage and deliver international financial targets to the agreed budgeted phasing with focus on quarterly targets.
  • Actively seek information on existing and prospective licensing partners & distributors to ensure that Hasbro’s portfolio is ‘Best-in-Class’ and confirm they have the resources and retail influence to achieve or maintain placement of our properties
  • Collaborate with local retail development teams to deliver category specific updates and conversation on behalf of licensees
  • Partner with financial, legal, and internal licensing partners to ensure alignment across revenue plans, contract compliance, and brand marketing goals, respectively.
  • Assess new and different business models for maximum growth by brand
  • Understand retail and distribution landscape within EMEA, key categories, target demographic, market potential, consumer insight and trends, and credible players in the field.
  • Support crafting strategic expansion and growth opportunities, including identifying and assessing product gaps and developing a point of view on improving creative direction for global product to ensure market fit.
  • Research new categories of business and potential licensing partnerships for global expansion across all categories and brands; develop pitch materials and presentations to solicit / secure business proposals.
  • Identify underutilized Hasbro trademarks to out-license creating new revenue and value for the organization
  • Keep current with EMEA industry trends and developments through networking, attending trade shows and industry functions.
  • Develop intimate knowledge of EMEA competitive properties at retail.
  • Keep up to date on Hasbro’s wide range of product offerings and content.


What you’ll bring…

  • Minimum 5 years of forward-thinking experience in consumer-packaged good's marketing, sales or retail environment.

  • Strong understanding of brand/category positioning, retailer landscape, business development and retailer distribution.

  • College Degree in Commerce, Business or related field—required.
