The EMEA Product Manager plays a critical role in driving the commercial success of Magic: The Gathering across the EMEA region. This role translates data, market insights, and regional feedback into informed product planning, inventory, localization, and pricing decisions for each release.
Sitting at the intersection of commercial strategy and operational execution, the role leads regional Product Commitment Request (PCR) preparation, leveraging historical sales analysis, market insights, and cross‑functional input to support forecast alignment and stakeholder negotiations. From launch documentation and pricing approvals through to inventory performance monitoring and stock optimization, the Product Manager ensures each release is positioned for strong in‑market execution.
Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Studio, and Analytics teams, this role provides clear, data‑driven insights and maintains rigorous documentation standards to enable accurate, timely decision‑making. Success requires strong analytical capability, commercial awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent releases in a fast‑paced, international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support product planning and commitment processes through detailed data analysis, documentation preparation, and cross‑functional coordination.
- Analyse historical sales performance and market trends to inform commercial decisions at SKU, channel, and regional level.
- Partner with regional sales leadership and global stakeholders to gather inputs, align forecasts, and support commercial negotiations.
- Support regional pricing execution, including preparation of pricing materials, management of approval workflows, and maintenance of accurate documentation.
- Monitor product performance and inventory levels, identifying risks and opportunities and coordinating closely with sales, operations, and supply teams to optimize stock allocation.
- Contribute to localization and language planning by evaluating demand patterns and supporting scenario planning for future releases.
- Develop commercial presentations, launch materials, and business updates for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy across product details, pricing, timelines, and allocations.
- Provide ongoing analytical and operational support to senior product leadership to enable informed decision‑making and successful product launches.

Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in B2C product management and/or sales enablement roles.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage data and analytics to inform commercial decision‑making and drive business outcomes.
- Experience synthesizing insights from multiple and diverse data sources to support strategic recommendations.
- Strong data management capabilities, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and efficiency across systems and stakeholders.
- Proven experience leading or supporting cross‑functional initiatives and change projects within a matrix organization.
- Experience working effectively in hybrid and geographically dispersed international teams.
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
- Advanced Excel proficiency, including working with large datasets, building models, and effectively visualizing and presenting findings.
- High level of operational rigor and attention to detail across multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Solid commercial acumen, including understanding of sales channels, pricing strategy, and inventory dynamics.
- Highly organized, proactive, and structured, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple product releases simultaneously.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and clarity of thought in complex, fast‑paced environments.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely in writing, verbally, and via presentations (PowerPoint proficiency required).
- Adaptable and resilient, with a positive mindset toward change and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of Magic: The Gathering, the trading card game category, and/or broader gaming culture is highly advantageous.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience required, preferably in Business, Data Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
