We are seeking a highly skilled Vendor Manager- Digital Gaming. This pivotal role will centralize vendor selection, contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and cost optimization across our studios and digital gaming teams. You will define standard processes, ensure strategic vendor alignment, and enhance efficiency across our organization. Your expertise in vendor lifecycle management, risk mitigation, and contract negotiations will drive operational excellence and cost savings while fostering strong partnerships with key vendors.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Vendor Selection & Contract Negotiation: Lead end-to-end vendor evaluation and selection processes, negotiate contracts, and optimize terms to ensure cost-effectiveness, risk mitigation, and alignment with business goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Legal, Studios, Supply Chain, and Production teams to standardize procurement processes, contract terms, and performance management.
  • Performance Monitoring: Define and enforce standardized Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to assess vendor performance, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Cost Optimization & Risk Mitigation: Implement vendor governance frameworks to identify inefficiencies, reduce redundant contracts, and drive cost savings across vendor agreements.
  • Compliance & Security Assurance: Ensure that all vendor agreements adhere to compliance, security, regulatory, and ethical standards, reducing potential legal and operational risks.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Foster long-term, strategic relationships with key vendors, driving innovation, efficiency, and collaboration.
  • Reporting & Insights: Develop reporting mechanisms to track vendor performance, budget impact, and contractual efficiencies, presenting findings to leadership for data-driven decision-making.

 

What You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or external development within the video game, technology, or entertainment industry.
  • Strong understanding of game development processes, technology procurement, and content outsourcing.
  • Proven track record in contract negotiation, vendor risk assessment, and partner management.
  • Expertise in performance monitoring frameworks to ensure vendor accountability.
  • Knowledge of vendor compliance, security, and regulatory standards relevant to digital gaming and technology services.
  • Excellent analytical, financial, and communication skills to drive strategic decision-making.

 

Nice to Have:

  • Experience building a vendor management function within a fast-paced, evolving organization.
  • Familiarity with game development and production standard methodologies, across the full spectrum of video game making and publishing
  • Proven ability to manage vendors across multiple categories (e.g., technology services, content outsourcing, cloud infrastructure, customer support).
  • Knowledge of procurement tools and contract management systems.

Compensation Range, Currency USD:

  • Starting Pay Range: $122,400
  • Pay Range End: $214,400
