WPN Retail Relationship Dev Specialist

The WPN retail development specialist is responsible for managing our authorized store WPN (Wizards Play Network), create premium store and contribute to sales through in-store events.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create WPN premium store in Japan
• Growth revenue through WPN
• Build great relationship with WPN retailer HQ and stores
• Increasing engagement by getting stores to understand Magic better.
• Coordinate with Marketing and Trade Marketing to develop channel growth initiatives
• Provide regular updates to Management on market development status during regional meetings
• Collaborate with teams across the region and headquarter providing initiatives and insights to drive optimal business outcome.

Qualifications:

- 2+ years experience in simiar industry such as toy, collectible, and other consumer products. 

- Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders

- Self-driven and proactive in nature 

- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college required with fluency in Japanese.

- Ability to juggle and manage multiple priorities under tight project deadlines preferred.

- Above conversational level in English language skill (reading, speaking, writing) 

Highly Desired:

• TCG industry experience.
• Experience in event management

• Familiarity with Wizards products a huge plus – particularly Magic: the Gathering.

Travel Requirements (% of time per year)   

• About 10% travel.  Regional markets and Wizard HQ in Seattle, WA
